Who we are

What we collect and why

Enquiry form

When you send the enquiry form we receive your store URL, email address, main problem, and (on the contact page) budget range and timeline. We use this only to reply to you and scope possible work. The form is delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms.

Booking a call

Discovery calls are booked through Calendly, which opens in a popup on this site. Calendly collects the details you enter there (such as name, email and any answers) under its own privacy policy and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Calendly may set its own cookies when the popup opens.

Email, phone and WhatsApp

If you contact us directly we keep the message and your contact details to reply and, if we work together, to run the project.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which buttons are used (for example "book a call" clicks and successful enquiries). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and processes data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. We don't send your email address or store URL to Google Analytics; when an enquiry is sent it records only the problem, budget and timeline options you picked. Server logs

Like most websites, our web host records basic request data (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the site running.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent personal data.
• We don't run advertising trackers on this site.
• Fonts and site assets are self-hosted, so loading the site doesn't contact font or icon CDNs.

Legal basis

For visitors in the UK, EU and similar jurisdictions: we handle enquiries and bookings to take steps you ask for before a possible contract, and for our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries. Analytics is based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, or your consent where the law requires it. For India, we process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who else handles your data

• Web3Forms: delivers enquiry form submissions to our email.
• Calendly: scheduling discovery calls.
• Google: Google Analytics.
• Our email provider: receives enquiries and messages.
• Our web host: serves the site and keeps server logs.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and India. They act under their own terms and safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Project correspondence is kept for as long as needed for the work, invoicing and legal obligations. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email hello@vkco.tech and we'll respond within 30 days. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. If you're in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
